Délio Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Rosado in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Tayo got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Maia. Délio Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chatelodo's goalkeeper Délio Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serginho Rosado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guilherme Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Laércio Catarinense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Pena. Tayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laércio Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 62nd minute Luís Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Délio Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Mário Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chatelodo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tayo the free kick. In the 66th minute, Luís Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Pena was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 72nd minute, Guilherme Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Délio Berger. Chatelodo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Guilherme Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chatelodo's Luís Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
