With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dé Loureiro in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Adolfo de Brito saved Parnahyba SC from getting behind. When Sílvio Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Parnahyba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Magalhães couldn't finish the play. After 48 played minutes Coroveira AD got a freekick which was hit by Telmo dos Santos. After 51 minutes Coroveira AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliézer Zonta who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Raimundo de Amaral managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Parnahyba SC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Parnahyba SC's Jeremias Martins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dé Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. João Adolfo de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dé Loureiros short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got João Adolfo de Brito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute, Eurico Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Coroveira AD's Dé Loureiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Adolfo de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Luizão Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coroveira AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Adolfo de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dé Loureiro in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Antunes in the 97th minute of play forced Parnahyba SC's goalkeeper João Adolfo de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dé Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Parnahyba SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luizão Antunes 100 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3.
