After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Valdomiro de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iretama SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdomiro de Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Donato Pena sped through Iretama SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edinho Galvão. After 78 minutes, Eriberto Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iretama SS and the Sitiozinho AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eriberto Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Edvaldo das Neves put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edinho Galvão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Neiva in the 96th minute of play forced Iretama SS's goalkeeper Edinho Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
