Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Reinaldo Quirino made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th minute, one of Estopa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Estopa. After 9 minutes of play, Araripina AD's Luizinho Medeiros made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Reinaldo Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Araripina AD's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toninho Silveira. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toninho Silveira in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Paulo Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Augusto Quadros hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Zé Paulo Fernandes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erivaldo Sena went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 55th minute, Toninho Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Paulo Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Zé Paulo Fernandes came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Estopa's Joélson Mazza. But to his dismay, Joélson Mazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estopa's goalkeeper Beto Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Estopa's goalkeeper Beto Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armindo Maciel. The audience was convinced that Reinaldo Quirino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beto Goiano was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Toninho Silveira notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Araripina AD's Zé Paulo Fernandes. Zé Paulo Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
