Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adalmo de Souza got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Adalmo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manino's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalmo de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute of the match Tales Valladares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcinho Neto skillfully saved the ball. If Perivaldo Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Novaes in the 14th minute of play forced Manino's goalkeeper Marcinho Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Germano Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salsas SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manino the free kick. In the 18th minute, Germano Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duda Diniz, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Salsas SS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marcos de Medeiros hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelinho Barreto during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelinho Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Adalmo de Souza struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tony Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manino. In the 37th match minute, Salsas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Cruz to maneuver through the defense. If Adalmo de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Perivaldo Novaes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salsas SS's Vítor de Barros suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 54 minutes, Fernão Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manino and the Salsas SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, Salsas SS's Marcos de Medeiros got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcinho Neto. Marcinho Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Adalmo de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lino Veiga hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Adalmo de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salsas SS's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Salsas SS's Serafim Cruz got a free kick in the 68th minute. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jânio Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tony Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Manino got a freekick which was hit by Lino Veiga. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Germano Damião took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Marcinho Neto to make any attempt to save it. Armandinho Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Guimarães having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Salsas SS got a freekick which was hit by Germano Damião. When Manino's Armandinho Vander in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salsas SS's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Salsas SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
