Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Frederico Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Neto in the 4th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Didi Paraíba. Ituyutaba's Cauan Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Didi Paraíba in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 31 minutes, Isaltino Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Frederico Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Ituyutaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Hames didn't get a good kick on the ball. Víktor Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cauan Bertassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Felipe Soares came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Soares couldn't finish the play. Isaltino Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Peres having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Isaltino Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th match minute, Ituyutaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Pires to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Soares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frederico Peres. That made the score 0-1 in the 62 minute of play. Cauan Bertassi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. When Felipe Soares came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 85th minute, Santos FC's Felipe Soares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.
