Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Caetano Donato made the kick off which started today's match. Luís Fabiano Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didi Paraíba in the 3rd minute. Caetano Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Escolvado's Caetano Donato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Vergílio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. If Cássio Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! 21 minutes into the match, Escolvado's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaltino Neto. In the 23rd minute Felipe Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Isaltino Neto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Escolvado's Luís Fabiano Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Soares in the 26th minute of play. Isaltino Neto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Luís Fabiano Santana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santos FC's Alessandro Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Donato in the 30th minute of play. Cássio Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alessandro Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Didi Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Paraíba couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Cássio Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escolvado's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Alessandro Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Soares made a kick off. A collision led to Escolvado getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Inácio Amorim hit a great ball. Luís Fabiano Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Santos FC's zone, Cássio Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Vergílio came out of the goal and Cássio Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Vergílio having to interfere. Didi Paraíba hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Escolvado's Caetano Donato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alessandro Vergílio. Alessandro Vergílio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Inácio Amorim hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Caetano Donato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessandro Vergílio having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Cássio Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alessandro Vergílio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Trigo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Escolvado's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
