Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Osvaldo Araújo got the match started through his kick off. Chiquinho Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chiquinho Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chiquinho Rosa hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When Júnior da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Cambucy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior da Silveira couldn't finish the play. Yuri Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior da Silveira in the 6th minute of play. After 6 minutes of play Cajutino's Chiquinho Rosa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 10 minutes of play, Cajutino's Osvaldo Araújo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Schmidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yuri Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Cearense in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Luciano Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Loyola in the 18th minute of play forced Cajutino's goalkeeper Yuri Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tiago Schmidt made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Cambucy's Júnior da Silveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Serafim Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambucy's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafim Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Mineiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Cajutino's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior da Silveira came free, but Yuri Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júnior da Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Luciano Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Schmidt having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Cajutino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses de Lara to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes Cajutino got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Araújo. Dudu Tavares hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Júnior da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Cambucy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior da Silveira couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cajutino's goalkeeper Yuri Mineiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cajutino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Virgílio Quirino was slow to take the kick. During this time Cambucy's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cambucy's corner Conrado Pirani fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yuri Mineiro quite easily take care of the ball. Yuri Mineiro stood somewhat misplaced when Júnior da Silveira came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Júnior da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Yuri Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cambucy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
