Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernão Varela took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Itui's goal looked a bit too open when Fernão Varela came free, but Teodoro Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Peruibe SS got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Rossi. Edgar Favoretto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebastião Severo. After 9 played minutes Sebastião Severo scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Edgar Favoretto who was too lazy, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Itui's Claudinho Urbano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Favoretto. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Peruibe SS's zone, Claudinho Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Favoretto came out of the goal and Claudinho Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Chicão Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peruibe SS's protests and gave Chicão Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Peruibe SS got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Rossi. In the 25thth minute of the game Betão Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itui's Teodoro Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Claudinho Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Peruibe SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Betão Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Paraense having to interfere. When Filipe Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peruibe SS's protests and gave Filipe Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Claudinho Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itui's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Favoretto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho Urbano made a kick off. Antônio Carlos Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antônio Carlos Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Itui booed when Peruibe SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Mineiro took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Paraense. Teodoro Paraense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Claudinho Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Edgar Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betão Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Teodoro Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Itui getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Raúl Marquez hit a great ball. Fernão Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Peruibe SS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luisinho Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Edgar Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
