Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sacambu's Valério Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Negri in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Oscar Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capane SS and the Sacambu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Capane SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Bastos to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes, Telmo Mineiro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sacambu's Valério Breckenfeld tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Chico Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rubens Guimarães kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dagoberto Dante. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Telmo Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valério Breckenfeld was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Telmo Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Wilian Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Mineiro took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Breckenfeld. Valério Breckenfeld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rubens Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Dante having to interfere. Telmo Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Botelho struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Dagoberto Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacambu. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Chico Negri made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Sacambu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Sacambu's Rubens Guimarães got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Telmo Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Telmo Mineiro put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Valério Breckenfeld. With a little luck, Sacambu's Valério Breckenfeld got control of the ball when Telmo Mineiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dagoberto Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Rubens Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Sacambu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubens Guimarães couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Luís Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sacambu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Marcus Esteves hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Valério Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Negri in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Chico Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Capane SS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Capane SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
