Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gugu Schmidt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rdth minute of the game Adalberto Vianna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cerradinho's Jorginho de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Silas Pirani fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerradinho's protests and gave Silas Pirani a yellow card for diving instead. Silas Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Caricaca FC's Adelino Trigo tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Adalberto Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adalberto Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gugu Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cerradinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gugu Schmidt couldn't finish the play. Jorginho de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho do Vale in the 24th minute of play forced Cerradinho's goalkeeper Jorginho de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalberto Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrézinho do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jorginho de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Caricaca FC's goalkeeper Elivélton do Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner Linares. Kiko Alcântara hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Andrézinho do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalberto Vianna to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 52nd minute of play forced Cerradinho's goalkeeper Jorginho de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Adalberto Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Caricaca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Vianna couldn't finish the play. If Adalberto Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Schmidt in the 63rd minute of the match. Wágner Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Caricaca FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Iuri da Silva hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gugu Schmidt in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elivélton do Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cerradinho's Jorginho de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cerradinho's Vítor da Fonseca got a free kick in the 70th minute. Caricaca FC's Andrézinho do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Cerradinho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andrézinho do Vale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Caricaca FC's zone, José Carlos Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton do Nascimento came out of the goal and José Carlos Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Wágner Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerradinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Wágner Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elivélton do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gugu Schmidt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elivélton do Nascimento having to make a save. Jorginho de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Andrézinho do Vale sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 91st minute of play forced Cerradinho's goalkeeper Jorginho de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Lino Guerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caricaca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerradinho the free kick. After 93 played minutes Caricaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Guerra. In the 95th minute Wágner Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caricaca FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cerradinho to leave the ground with a draw.
