Cipriano Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Curupira SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capibaribe SS the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curupira SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Capibaribe SS a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cauan Maciel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curupira SC's Cacá Faustino. 0-1. Hamílton Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamílton Vasconcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Cipriano Mattos could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Enéas Veloso however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruninho Nóbrega during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
