Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Naldo Madureira made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Naldo Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Soares having to interfere. Geraldo Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Silveira having to interfere. Magno Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Passagem's José Paulo Fontes got a free kick in the 14th minute. Hamílton da Cunha was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. Alfredo Cerezo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 28th minute, Nestor Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rafael Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laércio Baiano's late challenge caught a Passagem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laércio Baiano helped the player get up and apologised. Laércio Baiano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Estalo's Geraldo Valladares in 40 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fernando Silveira guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 42nd minute Geraldo Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laércio Baiano hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Passagem's Aleandro Barbosa tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dadá Motta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Motta in the 58th minute of play forced Passagem's goalkeeper Fernando Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, one of Estalo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Rafael Soares, was totally fooled by Passagem's Aleandro Barbosa, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dadá Motta struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Fernando Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estalo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Motta in the 79th minute of play forced Passagem's goalkeeper Fernando Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Estalo's Rafael Soares got control of the ball when Nestor Rodrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 98th match minute, Estalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Motta in the 99th minute of the match. After 101 played minutes Estalo got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Valladares. Estalo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
