In the 4th minute Vítor Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davi Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Marcelo de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alcacus FC's Vítor Abraão in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 8th minute, Davi Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo de Souza having to interfere. César Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Chico Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Potirendaba AD's Jorginho Barral in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Alcacus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th minute João Adolfo Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Alcacus FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Beto Passos hit a great ball. When Guga Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcacus FC's protests and gave Guga Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Potirendaba AD's Chico Simão threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorginho Barral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 45 played minutes Potirendaba AD got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Lara. If Davi Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Potirendaba AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alcacus FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorginho Barral to make the kick off. Marcelo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Terra in the 55th minute of play. João Adolfo Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Vítor Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Marcelo de Souza made a huge save. When Vítor Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Alcacus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Abraão couldn't finish the play. César Ferraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Simão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Jorginho Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davi Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Davi Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcacus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
