Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Válter Brasil got the match started through his kick off. Frederico Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Barral in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute Guto Leme collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Frederico Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonsinho França, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Frederico Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Baiano in the 19th minute of play. Denílson Koehler made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gilmar Freitas sent off a good shot on target. When Afonsinho França came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Uruau SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonsinho França couldn't finish the play. If Juarês Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rancharia's Frederico Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Mendonça in the 36th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Denílson Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Frederico Britto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juarês Mendonça in the 64th minute. Gilmar Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Koehler having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Válter Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilmar Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Denílson Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Róbson Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruau SC's protests and gave Róbson Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rancharia booed when Uruau SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rancharia's Gilmar Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rancharia's Bruno Proença suffered a sprained foot after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Róbson Baiano was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Uruau SC's Róbson Baiano got a free kick in the 80th minute. Marcus da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Frederico Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Juarês Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruau SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilmar Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Koehler having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
