In the 13th minute Fiori Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrício Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrício Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Délio Zanette fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cassiano's goalkeeper Patrício Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Délio Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrício Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Patrick Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Borges in the 26th minute of play. Patrick Ortiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinei Faustino went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Felipe Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Ortiz was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Felipe Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gernando Veloso hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Felipe Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Ortiz having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fiori Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrick Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Borges in the 52nd minute of play. Délio Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Dracena in the 58th minute of play forced Cassiano's goalkeeper Patrício Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiori Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Arroz EC's Fiori Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrício Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Délio Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrick Ortiz was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Felipe Borges capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Borges really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Fiori Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Branco having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cassiano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
