Kauan Dracena started the match with the kick off. Favorita SC's Gugu Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Favorita SC from getting a goal against them. Gualter Couto struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Gugu Lira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacuquara SS. Dalmo Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Favorita SC's Kauan Dracena in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After recieving a nice pass, Favorita SC's Nelson Dantas tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Teodoro Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giuseppe Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giuseppe Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot 24 in the game by Ismael Bertassi from a close distance when the talented Gugu Lira managed to make a qualified save. Favorita SC's players were relieved. Giuseppe Rocha hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Oswaldo Castro had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giovani Xavier during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Giovani Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmo Arce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauan Dracena's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Gualter Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauan Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Almeida in the 42nd minute of play forced Jacuquara SS's goalkeeper Dalmo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Bertassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dalmo Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the game, Cesinha dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacuquara SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Favorita SC the free kick. A collision led to Jacuquara SS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Cesinha dos Santos hit a great ball. Teodoro Almeida scored 0-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dalmo Arce didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Dalmo Arce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Almeida in the 69th minute. Gugu Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Bertassi in the 72nd minute of play. Cesinha dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gugu Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovani Xavier got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Giovani Xavier hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Gugu Lira came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Jacuquara SS's Gualter Couto. But to his dismay, Gualter Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 92 minutes into the match, Jacuquara SS's Ismael Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gugu Lira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jacuquara SS's zone, Giuseppe Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Arce came out of the goal and Giuseppe Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Favorita SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
