In the 4th minute, Waldir Loyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Jundiahy EC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Loyola came free, but Cesinha Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cristian Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jundiahy EC's goalkeeper Cesinha Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jundiahy EC's Cesinha Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Jundiahy EC from getting a goal against them. Pedro Paulo Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Bezerra's late challenge caught a Ibitiruna SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Jundiahy EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Agnaldo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesinha Amaral having to interfere. Vladimir Melo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Cristian Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jundiahy EC. In the 24th minute Pedro Paulo Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesinha Amaral was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Waldir Loyola capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Waldir Loyola really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jundiahy EC's zone, Jano Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha Amaral came out of the goal and Jano Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesinha Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Loyola's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Pedro Paulo Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Waldir Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesinha Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Hermes in the 61st minute of the match. Waldir Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Agnaldo Hermes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cesinha Amaral was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jundiahy EC's goalkeeper Cesinha Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 71 in the game by Vladimir Melo from a close distance when the talented Cristian Neves managed to make a qualified save. Ibitiruna SC's players were relieved. Cesinha Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldir Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cesinha Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Paulo Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Paulo Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute Waldir Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Melo got free with Cristian Neves in the 102nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ibitiruna SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
