Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Caetano Teles got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Vladimir Melo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jundiahy EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Luiz Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesinha Amaral having to interfere. Caetano Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizão Loyola hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Cesinha Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Luiz Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cambogue AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Cambogue AD's Luiz Gomes in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jundiahy EC's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Cambogue AD's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Brasil came free, but Manfredo Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Cambogue AD's Luiz Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesinha Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Brasil to make the kick off. If Caetano Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cambogue AD booed when Jundiahy EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Cambogue AD's Caetano Teles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesinha Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caetano Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Caetano Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cesinha Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Teles struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Cesinha Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambogue AD. In the 76th minute, Pedro Paulo Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfredo Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Vladimir Melo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Manfredo Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jundiahy EC. Cesinha Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Teles in the 85th minute of the match. Caetano Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesinha Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jundiahy EC's zone, Luiz Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesinha Amaral came out of the goal and Luiz Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Jundiahy EC's goalkeeper Cesinha Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Gomes. Cambogue AD's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jundiahy EC had won, even though Cambogue AD had held more of the ball.
