Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aílton da Costa got the match started through his kick off. Botumirim's Arthur Tróia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Botumirim from getting a goal against them. If Aílton da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Botumirim's Arthur Tróia got control of the ball when Ricardo Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Luís Gustavo Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Chaves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Tróia having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Manteninha's Aílton da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arthur Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Manteninha's Ricardo Chaves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arthur Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Arthur Tróia managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Manteninha's Ricardo Chaves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dadá Bezerra was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juninho Souto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aílton da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Botumirim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Aílton da Costa struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Arthur Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manteninha. Juninho Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tadeu Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aílton da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Arthur Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manteninha's goalkeeper Tadeu Mangueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arthur Tróia came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Manteninha's Dadá Bezerra. But to his dismay, Dadá Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Manteninha were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
