When Reynaldo Tande fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manino's protests and gave Reynaldo Tande a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Manino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Tande to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Belchior Rosa managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Ariranha's Ernesto da Mata fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th minute, Percy de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Manino booed when Ariranha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho de Brito having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Paulo José Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ariranha the free kick. In the 20th minute, Paulo José Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Manino getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Koehler hit a great ball. Belchior Rosa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rodrigo Gaúcho. Belchior Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Andrézinho de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manino. Belchior Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick de Souza in the 37th minute of play. Belchior Rosa made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ernesto da Mata sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Manino's Dudu Antunes got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes, Ariranha's Isaltino Botelho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Belchior Rosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ariranha reached it. Manino's Belchior Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick de Souza in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adalberto Loureiro to strike the kick off in the second half. 1-0 became the score in the 54th minute when Patrick de Souza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Manino's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto da Mata came free, but Belchior Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ariranha's Rodrigo Gaúcho got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Manino's zone, Patrick de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belchior Rosa came out of the goal and Patrick de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belchior Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick de Souza in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Manino booed when Ariranha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ernesto da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Belchior Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ernesto da Mata came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ariranha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto da Mata couldn't finish the play. Belchior Rosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick de Souza's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Dudu Antunes's late challenge caught a Ariranha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dudu Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ariranha booed when Manino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belchior Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute Ariranha were awarded a corner. Rodrigo Gaúcho went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ariranha's corner Rodrigo Gaúcho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Belchior Rosa quite easily take care of the ball.
