Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vânderson Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Lopes in the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Raúl Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corityba SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Patrício Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chico Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Luiz Eduardo Souto's late challenge caught a Corityba SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Souto helped the player get up and apologised. Luiz Eduardo Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Raúl Lima got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Valdomiro de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Chico Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Senna having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Amanaiara's Hortêncio da Rocha got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Nelsinho Freitas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Amanaiara's Vânderson Hermes didn't even have to move. Patrício Trancoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chico Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrício Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrício Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Chico Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nelsinho Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corityba SS's protests and gave Nelsinho Freitas a yellow card for diving instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdomiro de Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrício Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Chico Senna made a huge save. Valdomiro de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corityba SS's goalkeeper Chico Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Corityba SS got a freekick which was hit by Acácio de Azevedo. In the 65th minute of the match, Valdomiro de Amaral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chico Senna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 67 minutes of play, Amanaiara's Patrício Trancoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chico Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrício Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Chico Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurinho Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdomiro de Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico Senna having to make a save. Maurinho Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vânderson Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Raúl Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Amanaiara supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Amanaiara would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
