Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Delfim Amaral took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Formos SC got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Gomes. In the 7th minute, Tiago Gabriel Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Esteves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edvaldo Cabral. Formos SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Almir Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Edvaldo Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Catolezinho SC's Romário de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Amaral in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Clemente Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Jânio Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Almir Cardoso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edvaldo Cabral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 27th minute, Tiaguinho Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Delfim Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Romário de Castro. Catolezinho SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bruno Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Clemente Romero struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Romário de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formos SC. Clemente Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Romário de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jânio Paranaense made a kick off. Almir Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jânio Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Edvaldo Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catolezinho SC. After 56 played minutes Formos SC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Cruz. Edvaldo Cabral came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Catolezinho SC's Jânio Paranaense. But to his dismay, Jânio Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Formos SC's Edvaldo Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Paranaense in the 72nd minute of play. Romário de Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Romero went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Romero got free with Romário de Castro in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st match minute, Catolezinho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibúrcio Fontes to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Formos SC's Clemente Romero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romário de Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Catolezinho SC's zone, Delfim Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário de Castro came out of the goal and Delfim Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Formos SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
