After a rather tough play, Tuneiras SS's Dráuzio Medeiros got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Juninho de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anadia's Jeferson Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Recife was the one to do the kick off. Tuneiras SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cesinha da Mata in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cesinha da Mata got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeferson Vieira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Anadia's Jeferson Vieira got control of the ball when Juninho de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tuneiras SS's Luizão Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Nóbrega in the 85th minute of play. Cesinha da Mata hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tuneiras SS's Dráuzio Medeiros got a free kick in the 97th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
