When Cauan Britto came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ibiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Britto couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo de Alcântara having to interfere. If Gabriel Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Valdo de Alcântara managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Ibiti's Cauan Britto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Curimatai's Luís Eduardo Vinhas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ibiti's Róbson Leite tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Ibiti's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Eger came free, but Luiz Fabiano Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Luís Eduardo Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibiti's Róbson Leite shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Valdo de Alcântara but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfim Lira in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fabiano Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delfim Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Gabriel Sá reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdo de Alcântara. The goal made the score 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Luiz Fabiano Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delfim Lira's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Lira in the 54th minute of play forced Ibiti's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curimatai's goalkeeper Valdo de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Britto in the 63rd minute of play forced Curimatai's goalkeeper Valdo de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiti's zone, Virgílio Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fabiano Branco came out of the goal and Virgílio Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After recieving a nice pass, Curimatai's Virgílio Fantini tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ibiti defense, Agostinho Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fabiano Branco. The Ibiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fabiano Branco should have stopped the shot. Delfim Lira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Curimatai's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Curimatai booed when Ibiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ibiti's Luiz Fabiano Branco got control of the ball when Agostinho Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Agostinho Eger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Fabiano Branco. That made the score 1-2 in the 89 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Walmir Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Curimatai walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
