Gabriel Sá started the match with the kick off. Carlos Campidelis charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Campidelis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Carlos Eduardo Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anadia's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Eduardo Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fabiano Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonçalo Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jeferson Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Britto in the 21st minute of play. If Carlos Eduardo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ibiti's Gabriel Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Gonçalo Nóbrega in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Carlos Eduardo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Branco having to interfere. Anadia's Jeferson Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Sá in the 42nd minute of play. Cauan Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jeferson Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Eduardo Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Eduardo Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Mota hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anadia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elder Mota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luiz Fabiano Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Nóbrega in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Gonçalo Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Cauan Britto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeferson Vieira. Anadia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cauan Britto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Gonçalo Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fabiano Branco having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauan Britto got free with Jeferson Vieira in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
