Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arrayas EC's Claudinho Neiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Giovani Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dinei Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Régis Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, Arrayas EC's Dinei Abreu got control of the ball when Arnaldo Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aílton Tande hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Claudinho Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Brito was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Paulo José Hames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Caio Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Breckenfeld, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Arrayas EC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Belchior do Valle hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo José Hames during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Paulo José Hames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovani Goiano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luciano Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With an all-out effort, Urandi's Dinei Abreu threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giovani Goiano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th match minute, Urandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Seco to maneuver through the defense. Claudinho Neiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Luciano Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José Hames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo José Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Brito having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Luciano Brito made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Paulo José Hames sent off a good shot on target. When Caio Seco fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urandi's protests and gave Caio Seco a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Urandi got a freekick which was hit by Caio Seco. In the 56th minute of the match Michel Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dinei Abreu skillfully saved the ball. Arnaldo Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Claudinho Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrayas EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Urandi's goalkeeper Luciano Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo José Hames. When Paulo José Hames came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Arrayas EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo José Hames couldn't finish the play. Paulo José Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Brito having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arrayas EC's zone, Giovani Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei Abreu came out of the goal and Giovani Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrayas EC's goalkeeper Dinei Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Claudinho Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
