Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Willian Passos got the match started through his kick off. 1-0 became the score in the 3rd minute when Maurício Lopez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Willian Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agnaldo Matos's late challenge caught a Guara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agnaldo Matos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Agnaldo Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Félix having to interfere. Guara's Maurício Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Ferreira got free with Sidnei Félix in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sander SC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Percy Barros hit a great ball. Hamílton Rosa, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Ferreira got free with Sidnei Félix in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Zé Ferreira lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Sidnei Félix. José Paulo Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Anderson Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Guara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Santana to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Durval Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willian Passos in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anderson Valle saved Guara from getting behind. Anderson Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, José Paulo Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Sidnei Félix made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurício Lopez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Breno Aguiar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sidnei Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Zé Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guara's Maurício Lopez in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sander SC's goalie prevented a goal. Guara's Anderson Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Passos in the 66th minute of play. In the 97th match minute, Guara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Teles to maneuver through the defense.
