Eurico Motta started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Pedrinhas AD booed when Videla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan Figueiredo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Eurico Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes, Eurico Motta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedrinhas AD and the Videla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eurico Motta hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jefferson Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio Aguiar having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Washington Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anísio Aguiar. Pedrinhas AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Washington Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Washington Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Videla's Jefferson Veloso in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pedrinhas AD's goalie prevented a goal. Cauã Dias hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Anísio Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Freitas in the 33rd minute of play. Anísio Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Videla's Washington Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pedrinhas AD's Egídio Furtado got a free kick in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Veloso in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anísio Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the game, Egídio Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedrinhas AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Videla the free kick. After 47 played minutes Pedrinhas AD got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Furtado.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jefferson Veloso made a kick off. Anísio Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Flávio Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinhas AD's Anísio Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Pedrinhas AD from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Pedrinhas AD's Anísio Aguiar got control of the ball when Washington Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jefferson Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Anísio Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anísio Aguiar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Videla had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
