Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zé Paulo Favoretto kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, one of Fontainha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fontainha. Fontainha's Murilo Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Ramos in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilian Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conrado Damião hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Zé Paulo Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilian Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Ramos in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Egídio Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilian Queirós acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nando Gomes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Ramos in the 29th minute of play forced Carananduba's goalkeeper Wilian Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Fontainha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Zonta to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Fabrício Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carananduba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Paulo Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal da Costa having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciro Ramos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilian Queirós. That made the score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the game, Egídio Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carananduba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fontainha the free kick. Egídio Sabóia hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Murilo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Murilo Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilian Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Santos got free with Juvenal da Costa in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilian Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Zé Paulo Favoretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fontainha's Juvenal da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Murilo Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontainha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carananduba's zone, Murilo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilian Queirós came out of the goal and Murilo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Murilo Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fontainha's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilian Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes, Zé Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carananduba and the Fontainha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Zé Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murilo Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertino Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Queirós having to interfere.
