Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute Jean Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Caraiba's Jean Guerra in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tauapicaca SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 7th minute, Jean Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caraiba's Nilson Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Caraiba from getting a goal against them. When Nico Mota fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caraiba's protests and gave Nico Mota a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Caraiba got a freekick which was hit by Nico Mota. Nilson Varela was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Alexandre Barros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandre Barros really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Moisés Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Guerra in the 18th minute of play. Alexandre Barros took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Varela. Nilson Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Tauapicaca SC's Cristian Gonçalves got a free kick in the 25th minute. Tauapicaca SC's Moisés Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Rosa in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Caraiba's zone, Alexandre Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Varela came out of the goal and Alexandre Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Belchior Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tauapicaca SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belchior Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belchior Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Alexandre Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tauapicaca SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tauapicaca SC's Moisés Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Rosa in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdir Rosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jean Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Moisés Barbosa made a huge save. In the 55th match minute, Tauapicaca SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Valdir Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Moisés Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilson Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Guedes's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes in the game, Valdir Rosa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Moisés Barbosa having to interfere. Nilson Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moisés Barbosa was a little too slow when Valdir Rosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-1.
