After a rather tough play, Babia's Belmiro Melo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Natanael de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Moisés Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belchior Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Leonardo Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Passos's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Roberto Passos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tauapicaca SC's Moisés Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tauapicaca SC's zone, Natanael de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Barbosa came out of the goal and Natanael de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Belchior Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babia's Ediberto Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belchior Castro in the 30th minute of play. Ediberto Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natanael de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Moisés Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rony Vidal hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Babia's Nuno Tavares broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 45th minute, Rony Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toninho Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moisés Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Passos in the 71st minute of play. Moisés Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Roberto Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Moisés Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Leonardo Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tauapicaca SC and the Babia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Babia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tauapicaca SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
