Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guabiraba's Víktor Costa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Víktor Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guabiraba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víktor Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edinho da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Geovânio Campidelis charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovânio Campidelis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edinho da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Christiano Oliveira came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Canella's Breno das Neves. But to his dismay, Breno das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Christiano Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Christiano Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiano Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Corrêa in the 47th minute of the match. Romeu Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Guabiraba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canella were winning 0-2.
The wind increased when Romeu Corrêa made the kick off in the second half. Guabiraba's Giuseppe de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Canella booed when Guabiraba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Romeu Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho de Amaral hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Canella's Rafael Trancoso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guabiraba. In the 71st minute, Breno das Neves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Breno das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Christiano Oliveira made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Romeu Corrêa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christiano Oliveira. That made the score 0-3 in the 75 minute of play. Guabiraba's Christiano Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Guabiraba from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Guabiraba booed when Canella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball.
