Telmo Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Imoroti SS's Sérgio Guedes suffered a sore thigh after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 16 minutes into the game, Conrado do Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cantareira SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imoroti SS the free kick. Telmo Marquez had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Dionísio Xavier's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Dionísio Xavier notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cantareira SS's Telmo Marquez. Telmo Marquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilton Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agnaldo Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Wilton Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Agnaldo Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilton Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matías Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cantareira SS's goal looked a bit too open when David Gonçalves came free, but Telmo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Gonçalves in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Wilton Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantareira SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Cerezo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Imoroti SS's Agnaldo Correia got control of the ball when Wilton Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilton Cerezo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agnaldo Correia firmly grabbed it by the left post. David Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Marquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matías Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Correia having to interfere. In the 84th minute Matías Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davi Recife could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Agnaldo Correia made a huge save. Imoroti SS's Agnaldo Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Moraes in the 97th minute of play. Imoroti SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
