After a rather tough play, Frigorifico SS's Manuel Arce got a free kick in the 8th minute. Guto Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Brasil having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Recreio's Vicente de Senna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rubinho Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nelsinho Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Ramos in the 21st minute of play forced Recreio's goalkeeper Nelsinho Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Recreio's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manfredo Torres fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rubinho Dante hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guto Favoretto during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frigorifico SS's Jefferson Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Neves in the 32nd minute of play. Jefferson Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Teixeira in the 39th minute of play. Manfredo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Vieira having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Recreio's Guto Favoretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jefferson Brasil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guto Favoretto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Jefferson Brasil skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 79th minute, Osvaldinho Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Frigorifico SS's zone, Vicente de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Brasil came out of the goal and Vicente de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Recreio's Nelsinho Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Ramos in the 91st minute of play. Carlos Augusto Mattos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nelsinho Vieira. Recreio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frigorifico SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
