Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roger Tande got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Xiriri got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Paraíba. Xiriri's Roger Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilmar Senna struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Armindo Alvarenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhoes. Gilmar Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xiriri's Roger Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arlindo Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cléber Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cléber Mumbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Tande in the 22nd minute of play. When Roger Tande came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Xiriri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Tande couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Pinhoes. Erik Linares stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armindo Alvarenga. 1-0. Arlindo Ferraz scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cléber Mumbach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roger Tande struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cléber Mumbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xiriri. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Arlindo Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xiriri's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlindo Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber Mumbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, Pinhoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilmar Senna to make the kick off. The nice shot from Arlindo Ferraz in the 54thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cléber Mumbach had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Roger Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cléber Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arlindo Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Mumbach having to interfere. Roger Tande received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cléber Mumbach came out and tried to block the shot, but Roger Tande slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 60th minute. Armindo Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilmar Senna went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Isaltino Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Gilmar Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pinhoes's zone, Dito de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléber Mumbach came out of the goal and Dito de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilmar Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armindo Alvarenga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilmar Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Armindo Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Senna in the 89th minute of play forced Xiriri's goalkeeper Armindo Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Xiriri's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Senna came free, but Armindo Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
