Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dorival Veiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Mabe AD's goalkeeper Wágner de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Sabóia. In the 5th minute Dorival Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wágner de Andrade was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Dorival Veiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dorival Veiga really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tomás Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Wágner de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Augustinho's Dorival Veiga, in the 13th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Augustinho. Wágner de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Veiga in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Mabe AD's goalkeeper Wágner de Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Sabóia. A hard shot 21 in the game by Tomás Sabóia from a close distance when the talented Wágner de Andrade managed to make a qualified save. Mabe AD's players were relieved. In the 34th minute Dorival Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Dorival Veiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wágner de Andrade. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mabe AD's goalkeeper Wágner de Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Augustinho's zone, Genílson Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elano Nunes came out of the goal and Genílson Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Valdomiro Garcia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wágner de Andrade, passed just outside the right post. 48 minutes into the match, Mabe AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Veiga came free, but Wágner de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genílson Pirani was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Kléber Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorival Veiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wágner de Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorival Veiga ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomás Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Augustinho getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dudu Prestes hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Dorival Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Augustinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorival Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mabe AD's zone, Dorival Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wágner de Andrade came out of the goal and Dorival Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Veiga in the 86th minute of play forced Mabe AD's goalkeeper Wágner de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mabe AD booed when Augustinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball.
