Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Acaua FC's José Vítor Monteiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 19th match minute, Acaua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. João Vítor Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Acaua FC's goalkeeper João Vítor Dante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Cássio Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luizão Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Vítor Monteiro in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuca Sarmento's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luiz Vasconcelos firmly grabbed it by the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Luizão Ferraz made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Luizão Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piai EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acaua FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Ferraz in the 60th minute of play forced Acaua FC's goalkeeper João Vítor Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel de Queiroz during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Piai EC got a freekick which was hit by Joel de Queiroz. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Vítor Monteiro in the 64th minute of play forced Piai EC's goalkeeper Luiz Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Luiz Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Vítor Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel de Queiroz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Sarmento in the 73rd minute of play forced Piai EC's goalkeeper Luiz Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manuel Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Piai EC's zone, Edson Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Edson Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Monteiro in the 91st minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Piai EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
