Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gino Campidelis got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Henrique Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Neiva in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar Linhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th match minute, Caieira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo da Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guarara FC's goalkeeper Fausto Dracena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caieira SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Custódio Dante in the 13th minute. Custódio Dante made a great header on Caieira SS's corner, it was just that Guarara FC's Fausto Dracena managed to reach the ball for a save. Guarara FC's Fausto Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Palmeira in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Henrique Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 26 minutes, Joel Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Caieira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Recife to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Joel Neiva fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Caieira SS's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Neiva came free, but Nilmar Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilmar Linhares came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarara FC's Ronaldinho Félix. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Félix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Raúl Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Peixoto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Guarara FC's Raúl Peixoto got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Henrique Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Nilmar Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Caieira SS were furious when Dino Leme was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 63rd minute of the match Túlio Oliveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilmar Linhares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Caieira SS's Nilmar Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Félix in the 75th minute of play. Ronaldinho Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilmar Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
