After a rather tough play, Guarara FC's Zé Paulo Mattos got a free kick in the 9th minute. Erebango SC's Benedito Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ronaldinho Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enéas de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enéas de Carvalho was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Joel Neiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Neiva really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Joel Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fabrício Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guarara FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Manoel Motta hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Guarara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Ramalho came free, but Fausto Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrício Ramalho in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Dracena saved Guarara FC from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Guarara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Paraense came free, but Fausto Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ronaldinho Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 64 played minutes, Guarara FC's Maurício Bueno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enéas de Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guarara FC reached it. Zé Paulo Mattos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enéas de Carvalho. Erebango SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ronaldinho Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Joel Campidelis hit a great ball. Benedito Paraense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Benedito Paraense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Dracena. Guarara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Paraense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Enéas de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Neiva in the 84th minute of play. Erebango SC's Enéas de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Neiva in the 87th minute of play. Joel Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Enéas de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
