Edson Carioca hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alegrias SC's Germano Donato slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erik Velasco. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Junqueiro's Erik Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Donato in the 19th minute of play. Germano Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Velasco having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Junqueiro got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Mendonça. Germano Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Secco in the 38th minute of play forced Junqueiro's goalkeeper Erik Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Kauan Sena hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Baltazar Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Velasco having to interfere. Luís Fábio Barbosa's late challenge caught a Alegrias SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fábio Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Junqueiro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Erik Velasco went to the wrong direction when Manolo Prata was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Germano Donato's late challenge caught a Junqueiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germano Donato helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alegrias SC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Germano Donato hit a great ball. Chicão Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Germano Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Velasco. Junqueiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germano Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Leonardo Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Botelho in the 70th minute of the match. Baltazar Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Velasco having to interfere. Leonel Botelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Baltazar Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Germano Donato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Velasco was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Benjamim Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Junqueiro's Edson Carioca got a free kick in the 86th minute. Alegrias SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
