Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Inácio Zanette made the kick off which started today's match. If João Carlos Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Montenegro in the 7th minute of play. João Pedro Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 minutes, Tony Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolicho and the Falcao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tony Matorin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Augusto Montenegro in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertinho Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Pedro Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tony Matorin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, one of Bolicho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute, João Carlos Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Perivaldo Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bolicho's zone, João Pedro Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho Borges came out of the goal and João Pedro Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Augusto Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes, Digo Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolicho and the Falcao players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Bolicho:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Falcao:s goal. Albertinho Borges had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Claudinei Ortiz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bolicho's Albertinho Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play. When Falcao's João Pedro Favoretto in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bolicho's goalie prevented a goal. The Bolicho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Falcao were winning 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Pedro Favoretto was the one to do the kick off. Falcao were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Bolicho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudinei Ortiz took the corner. A collision led to Bolicho getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Inácio Zanette hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Zanette in the 66th minute of play forced Falcao's goalkeeper Perivaldo Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertinho Borges made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when João Augusto Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Albertinho Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Augusto Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Falcao's João Augusto Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertinho Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-4 when João Pedro Favoretto sped through Bolicho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albertinho Borges. Percival Quirino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, one of Bolicho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bolicho. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Falcao's Claudinei Ortiz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Albertinho Borges. Albertinho Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Favoretto in the 90th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Falcao got a freekick which was hit by Remo Alves.
