Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Linhares started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Botelho in the 7th minute of play forced Corintho's goalkeeper Nildo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Santana in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Nelsinho Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 played minutes Corintho got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Massa. Nildo Silva made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Hugo Zonta sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Nunes during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Corintho's Henrique Nunes got a free kick in the 19th minute. Nildo Silva was a little too slow when Nelsinho Botelho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Nildo Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelsinho Botelho's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When Bananeiras FC's Nelsinho Botelho in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corintho's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 played minutes Corintho got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Nunes. After a rather tough play, Bananeiras FC's Jonas Damião got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Bananeiras FC defense, Christian Linhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustão Garcia. The Bananeiras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustão Garcia should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nelsinho Botelho to make the kick off. Luiz Guilherme Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Faustão Garcia made a huge save. If Hugo Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manoel Bertassi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Hugo Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Silva having to interfere. Henrique Nunes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Nelsinho Botelho took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nildo Silva. Nildo Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Botelho in the 92nd minute of play forced Corintho's goalkeeper Nildo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bananeiras FC had won after a very even match.
