Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Inácio Zanette started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th match minute, Bolicho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bolicho's Albertinho Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Zonta in the 12th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bananeiras FC's goalkeeper Faustão Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Bolicho got a freekick which was hit by Digo Barbosa. In the 32nd match minute, Bananeiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Damião to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bananeiras FC's zone, Inácio Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Garcia came out of the goal and Inácio Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelsinho Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osmar Prestes during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Bolicho got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Prestes. 61 minutes into the match, Bananeiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Zanette came free, but Faustão Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raúl Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Garcia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Zanette in the 73rd minute of play forced Bananeiras FC's goalkeeper Faustão Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Souto in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bolicho's zone, Nelsinho Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho Borges came out of the goal and Nelsinho Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Raúl Souto sped through Bananeiras FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustão Garcia. Raúl Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Bolicho's Albertinho Borges got control of the ball when Hugo Zonta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bananeiras FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
