Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Olavo Leite made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Vanderley's Armandinho Pena got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Roger Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Betão Meira went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tarcisio Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Gararu AD got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Souto. Luiz Fabiano Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavo Leite struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ricardo Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanderley. Franklin Lucas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gararu AD's zone, Olavo Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Novaes came out of the goal and Olavo Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Betão Meira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gararu AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ricardo Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Fausto Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gararu AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Betão Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betão Meira made a kick off. Ricardo Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Meira in the 59th minute of play forced Vanderley's goalkeeper Roger Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Novaes came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Vanderley's Olavo Leite. But to his dismay, Olavo Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Luiz Fabiano Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafinha Nascimento during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gararu AD getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rafinha Nascimento hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Luiz Fabiano Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanderley's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Gararu AD's zone, Olavo Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 73rd minute, Alan Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Betão Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Fausto Souto made a precise shot to the right of Roger Arruda. Vanderley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Tarcisio Neiva hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Fausto Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. A collision led to Gararu AD getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ademar Magalhães hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Leite in the 98th minute of play forced Gararu AD's goalkeeper Ricardo Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gararu AD were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Vanderley's much stronger midfield.
