Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Iboti's Gilson Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Iboti from getting a goal against them. Gararu AD's Ademar Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Souto got free with Gilson Trancoso in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gilson Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betão Meira struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Gilson Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gararu AD. Betão Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Trancoso having to interfere. Gilson Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Meira in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Iboti's Durvalino Moreira got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Durvalino Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ricardo Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gararu AD's goalkeeper Ricardo Novaes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Gararu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Moreira came free, but Ricardo Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Betão Meira was the one to do the kick off. Gilson Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Souto in the 53rd minute of play. Marcus Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Iboti got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Cosme. Carlos Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Gararu AD's goalkeeper Ricardo Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Sena. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Carlos Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iboti's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gararu AD's Ricardo Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Moreira in the 69th minute of play. Durvalino Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Novaes came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Iboti's Carlos Sena. But to his dismay, Carlos Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcus Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Novaes having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Fausto Souto made a precise shot to the right of Gilson Trancoso. Iboti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Edmílson Guimarães was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Durvalino Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Durvalino Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Fausto Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
