Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vito de Senna got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Sombreiro AD booed when Umary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenílson de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Pedrinho Barral managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Sombreiro AD's Silas de Barros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silas de Barros in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedrinho Barral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Zonta during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Umary's Vítor Zonta got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sombreiro AD's Sydney Quintal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Umary. Wágner da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Barral having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner da Costa in the 22nd minute of play forced Umary's goalkeeper Pedrinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner da Costa in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho Barral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Silas de Barros notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Umary's Pedrinho Barral. Pedrinho Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Vito de Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvaldo Baptista was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Silas de Barros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Pedrinho Barral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sombreiro AD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sydney Quintal in the 35th minute. After taking down the ball on Sombreiro AD's corner Valério Donato fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedrinho Barral quite easily take care of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wágner da Costa to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Vito de Senna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edvaldo Baptista, 1-1. If Vito de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiliam Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Baptista having to interfere. If Wiliam Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vito de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Geovanni Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Barral having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Umary got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Zonta. If Luís Guilherme Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Luís Guilherme Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Sombreiro AD's Wágner da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrinho Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sombreiro AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Umary had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
