Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tabatinga's Jorge Mesquita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sombreiro AD's Edvaldo Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Tavares in the 4th minute of play. Geovanni Varela hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Vitório Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diogo Arantes made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Silas de Barros sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Baptista having to interfere. When Wágner da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Sombreiro AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner da Costa couldn't finish the play. Silas de Barros struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Diogo Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sombreiro AD. 22 minutes into the match, Sombreiro AD's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Mesquita came free, but Edvaldo Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitório Tavares took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Baptista. Edvaldo Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 34th minute, Silas de Barros fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Diogo Arantes, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Tabatinga's Diogo Arantes got control of the ball when Silas de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Wágner da Costa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Sombreiro AD getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Sydney Quintal hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 61 minutes of play, Sombreiro AD's Wágner da Costa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Elano da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wágner da Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Jorge Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Edvaldo Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitório Tavares struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Edvaldo Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabatinga. 92 minutes into the match, Sombreiro AD's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Mesquita came free, but Edvaldo Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tabatinga booed when Sombreiro AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
