Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Durval Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durval Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Baiepau AD a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by José Carlos Santana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pejucara FC's Pedro Paulo Nunes. 0-1. When Luís Fabiano Vides came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Pejucara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabiano Vides couldn't finish the play. Pedro Paulo Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Sampaio in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Gualter da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baiepau AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter da Mata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pejucara FC's zone, Alfredinho Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Nunes came out of the goal and Alfredinho Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Vides in the 17th minute of play forced Baiepau AD's goalkeeper Hélder Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With 28 minutes on the clock, Giuseppe do Vale commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pejucara FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Pedro Paulo Nunes came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Baiepau AD's Gualter da Mata. But to his dismay, Gualter da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Juan Machado hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Pedro Paulo Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualter da Mata's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half Baiepau AD were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Veiga made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Gualter da Mata could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Pedro Paulo Nunes however easily saved by the left post. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pejucara FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter da Mata got free with Pedro Paulo Nunes in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Baiepau AD's Eugênio Sampaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Paulo Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Tiago Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baiepau AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pejucara FC the free kick. The supporters of Pejucara FC booed when Baiepau AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualter da Mata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Pedro Paulo Nunes made a huge save. After having played for 89 minutes, Tiago Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pejucara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Tiago Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pejucara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Juan Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
