Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cássio Cosme started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Macoapani's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Cosme came free, but Noel Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute of the match, Cássio Cosme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Noel Palmeira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Noel Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Cosme in the 21st minute of the match. Dalmo Queirós hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Cássio Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jureia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Macoapani's Noel Palmeira got control of the ball when Olavo Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Cássio Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Jureia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Cosme couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Cássio Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olavo Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Cássio Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jureia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Cosme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute, Reynaldo Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Macoapani were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomé Mandrak made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Olavo Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jureia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavo Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noel Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Cosme in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Cosme in the 63rd minute of play forced Macoapani's goalkeeper Noel Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Raí Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Macoapani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raí Tinoco couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cássio Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jureia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Olavo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Cássio Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Palmeira having to interfere.
